Claude Cowork vs Code: Best Fit for Non-Engineers?
Why would I ever use Claude Cowork over Code? (Genuine question, pls share answers!) 🙏
Phrased differently: As a non-engineer doing mostly operational and business tasks, should I be using Cowork over Code? Feels like no but open to hearing perspectives.
My understanding: The core difference is in marketing. Cowork is basically Code for less technical users. Code does everything Cowork does, is generally more powerful & uses less tokens but the interface is for engineers.
I've personally been using Code because:
- I'm no engineer but fairly technical & comfortable with terminal
- Actually building projects
- Working with an engineer daily
...but if I'm doing mostly operational work unclear if I'm missing out on core features & simplicity when not using Cowork.
Open to hearing thoughts!! Thanks!!
