Full Circle: Speaking at Filip[in]os at LinkedIn
POV: You get invited to speak as a panelist at LinkedIn by the org you helped create! 🇵🇭
Last week, I had the honor of speaking to the Filip[in]os at LinkedIn with other founders for Filipino American History month.
Fun fact: I actually helped start the Filip[in]os at LinkedIn initiative with 3 other friends (throwback Bea Gutierrez Conrad Contreras Nikko Bautista) when I was there in 2018.
We had like... 10 people and a measly budget to now giving away swag, and scouting 150 other Filipinos! Wild!
There really are just a few Filipinos in tech, a few Filipino leaders in executive positions and very, very few Filipino founders.
So starting this organization and giving back by COMING back as a panelist felt AND posting about it on LinkedIn is very, very full circle.
